The Florio apps, and what they collect.

Last updated July 10, 2026. This policy covers the Florio applications (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple TV) and the Florio service behind them. Florio is operated by Edge Floral Event Designers, Inc. Our website privacy policy covers floriohq.com and the help site.

Florio is a workplace tool. You use it because a business, your employer or a business you work with, runs its operations on Florio and invited you. That business is our customer, and the records in its workspace belong to it. This page explains what the apps handle on the way.

Your account

Your workspace administrator creates your account: your name, work email, and role. You sign in with a password or with Google; if you choose Google, we receive your name, email, and profile photo from your Google account, and nothing else. Sign-in tokens are stored in your device's keychain, and signing out revokes that device.

Work records

What you create and see in Florio (clients, events, orders, proposals, schedules, time punches, notes, and photos) are your business's operational records. They're stored on our servers in the United States (Amazon Web Services), and every business's workspace is isolated from every other's, enforced at the database layer. We process these records to run the service for your business, and for nothing else.

Camera and photos

The app uses the camera only when you point it at something: a delivery confirmation photo, a job-site or plant-care visit photo, damage documentation. Photos you capture may be tagged with where they were taken, at capture time, so the record can verify itself later.

Location

Two uses, both about verifying work, both visible to you in the app. First, when you capture a proof photo, the app records the location once, at that moment. Second, if your role includes deliveries and you clock into a delivery run, the app follows the route, including in the background, until you clock out, so deliveries can be verified and disputes resolved. Route trails are visible to your managers, and your business can turn the feature off. The app never reads your location outside those moments, and location is never used for advertising.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Apple gives the app a device token we store to send you work alerts: approvals waiting on you, replies coming due, events signing. Decline, and the only difference is that your phone stays quiet. Signing out removes the token.

What the apps don't do

No advertising, no analytics SDKs, no trackers, no cross-app tracking, no data brokers, and no selling or sharing of your information. The apps talk to Florio's own servers and to the providers below, and nowhere else.

Service providers

Florio runs on a small set of providers, each processing only what its job requires: Amazon Web Services hosts the service, stores files, and sends email. Apple delivers push notifications. Stripe processes payments: card numbers go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. Google powers optional sign-in and the Workspace features a business connects (calendar, email). Intuit syncs accounting records for businesses that connect QuickBooks.

Security

Everything moves over encrypted connections (TLS). Access is role-based, workspaces are isolated with database row-level security, and lost devices can be signed out remotely by an administrator.

Retention and deletion

Work records are your business's records, kept for as long as its agreement with us says. To correct or delete something in your workspace, including your account, start with your workspace administrator, who controls it. And you can always email us directly with any question about your data; we'll take care of it promptly.

Children

Florio is a workplace tool for invited team members. It isn't directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Meaningful changes get told to our customers plainly, not buried.
